Join us as a Senior Frontend Developer to shape how we build web products for international clients. You will set frontend architecture, raise engineering standards, and mentor mid-level and junior engineers while still contributing hands-on to complex features. This role requires strong technical judgement, clear communication with stakeholders, and the ability to balance delivery speed with long-term maintainability across multiple concurrent projects.
Key responsibilities
- Define frontend architecture, folder structure, state patterns, and shared libraries for new and existing products
- Lead implementation of complex UI features — dashboards, multi-step flows, real-time views, and data-heavy interfaces
- Establish performance budgets, caching strategies, and monitoring for client-side quality
- Own accessibility and responsive standards; review designs and implementations for compliance
- Mentor frontend engineers through pairing, code review, and structured feedback
- Partner with backend leads on API contracts, pagination, auth, and error-handling conventions
- Participate in technical discovery, scope definition, and effort estimation with clients or product owners
- Investigate production incidents, propose fixes, and follow up with preventive improvements
- Evaluate and introduce tooling — bundlers, linters, testing frameworks — where they improve team output
- Contribute to hiring by reviewing take-home tasks and joining technical interviews
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial frontend development across multiple production products
- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js — including SSR, streaming, and deployment trade-offs
- Proven track record improving performance, developer experience, or design-system adoption
- Strong understanding of client-side state management, caching, and data-fetching patterns
- Experience leading features or workstreams without day-to-day micromanagement
- Ability to communicate technical decisions to designers, PMs, and non-technical stakeholders
- Solid grasp of security basics on the frontend — XSS, CSRF awareness, token handling, and safe rendering
- Comfort leading code review and maintaining quality under deadline pressure
- English — Advanced (C1) or higher for client workshops, written specs, and live calls
Nice to have
- Experience leading a small frontend squad or acting as tech lead on client engagements
- Contributions to open source, internal tooling, or published technical writing
- Familiarity with React Native, micro-frontends, or monorepo setups
- Exposure to international compliance topics — GDPR-oriented UX, cookie consent, or accessibility audits
- Previous experience in agencies or studios delivering for US/EU clients
