We are looking for a Middle Frontend Developer who enjoys shipping polished interfaces and cares about performance, accessibility, and maintainable React code. You will own features independently — from implementation through code review and release — while collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and QA on client products. The ideal candidate balances speed with quality and can explain technical trade-offs clearly to the team.
Key responsibilities
- Build responsive web interfaces with React, Next.js, and TypeScript in production codebases
- Implement and extend design systems, shared UI primitives, and layout patterns
- Integrate REST or GraphQL APIs, manage client-side state, and handle async data flows
- Improve Core Web Vitals, bundle size, and perceived performance on real user devices
- Apply accessibility standards (WCAG-oriented markup, keyboard navigation, ARIA where needed)
- Write and maintain tests — unit, component, or E2E — for critical user flows
- Participate in code review, sprint planning, and estimation for frontend work
- Debug production issues across browsers and devices with structured reproduction steps
- Collaborate with designers on feasibility, responsive behaviour, and interaction details
- Document component APIs, conventions, and setup steps for other engineers on the project
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial experience building web products with React
- Strong TypeScript skills and confidence refactoring legacy or inherited UI code
- Production experience with Next.js App Router, routing, SSR/SSG, and metadata patterns
- Solid command of modern CSS — Tailwind CSS or equivalent utility-first workflows
- Understanding of accessibility, responsive layout, and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience integrating APIs, handling auth flows, and managing forms with validation
- Comfortable with Git workflows, feature branches, and collaborative pull request culture
- Ability to break down tasks, estimate effort, and deliver within agreed sprint scope
- English — Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher for stand-ups, documentation, and client calls
Nice to have
- Experience with React Native, Expo, or shared component strategies across web and mobile
- Familiarity with Playwright, Vitest, Testing Library, or Storybook
- Contributions to internal component libraries, design tokens, or documentation sites
- Exposure to analytics, error tracking (Sentry), or feature-flag tooling
- Previous work in agencies, product studios, or fast-moving startup environments
