RemoteHybridUkraine · Remote-firstFull-timeStrong Junior
We're hiring a Strong Junior Frontend Developer who already ships real UI and wants to grow in a product-focused team. You'll join active client projects with mentorship, regular code review, and a clear path toward middle-level ownership. You should have solid React fundamentals, take feedback well, and want production work rather than tutorial tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Implement UI screens, forms, and reusable components from Figma handoffs
- Build responsive layouts with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
- Connect frontend views to REST APIs and handle loading, empty, and error states
- Fix bugs reported by QA, clients, or senior engineers within sprint deadlines
- Write unit tests for components and utility functions where applicable
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Submit pull requests, respond to code review comments, and iterate on feedback
- Follow team conventions for accessibility, semantic HTML, Git workflow, and naming
- Document edge cases and implementation notes when handing work over for review
Requirements
- 6–18 months of commercial experience or equivalent strong pet-project / internship work
- Solid React and TypeScript fundamentals: props, state, hooks, and component composition
- Comfortable with HTML semantics, CSS layout (flexbox, grid), and responsive design
- Experience with Next.js or another modern React framework in a real project
- Ability to read API documentation and integrate endpoints with fetch or axios
- Familiarity with Git: branches, commits, pull requests, and resolving simple conflicts
- Attention to detail when matching spacing, typography, and breakpoints from design files
- Willingness to ask questions, accept feedback, and improve code quality over time
- English: Intermediate (B1) or higher for team communication and task discussions
Nice to have
- Portfolio or GitHub with completed UI projects you can walk through in an interview
- Familiarity with Figma, design tokens, or component-based design systems
- Exposure to form libraries (react-hook-form, zod) and basic validation patterns
- Experience with ESLint, Prettier, or similar tooling in a team environment
- Basic understanding of Core Web Vitals and image optimisation in Next.js
